The September 2017 issue of Photonics Media features an article about how OCT applications are expanding beyond the typical use in ophthalmology. Our own Dr. Nishant Mohan is interviewed for this story.

Dermatology and angiography fields are seeing increased usage of OCT for mapping tumor margins to prevent and/or treat skin cancer, as well as removing unsightly blood vessels and wrinkles. Advancements with OCT treatment are also being made in the treatment of blood abnormalities and cancer.
